I'm a bit flabbergasted and blown away to announce that I have received a Pauline Glass Grant to study more about the Holocaust and how to teach it within schools, which includes an intensive 17 day trip this summer holidays to Israel!
I leave on Dec 28 and return around 20th January. It's going to be very full on but should hopefully provide me with more ideas and resources to use when teaching my students about the atrocities of the Holocaust and WWII. Fantastic timing too as next year will be our first lot of Year 10 students and our first Year 11 History class for advanced students, and I am teaching both!!
